Disney's Family Fun site has come up with this easy and great looking idea to turn a tee shirt into a valentines. I picked up a pack of dollies at Dollar Tree for just a buck. It doesn't get much easier and your child will be so proud to wear something they made!

Cool Candy Craft

Every once in a while my son and I like to wander around Micheal's craft store. We can usually find a few discount craft kits for a buck to keep us busy on snowy days. Well this cheap mama found something she paid FULL price for! LOL Yes folks, a whole $3.99!!!

What did we buy? The Wilton Candy Necklace Kit. It comes with enough individually wrapped kits to make 8 necklaces (which is 50 cents a piece.) My son had a blast making and eating his. And the nice thing is we have enough to do it again and again! Like maybe again today when Nana and Papa stop by for a visit.



Show nature a little love for Valentine's day

The mouse is too cute, but I think we are going to go for the bird suet feeder here! So share some love for nature while you share some time with your family!

Get bit by a LOVE BUG

Today, the boy (4) and I made these cute little love bugs and they were very simple.

We cute paper to wrap around a toilet paper tube. We then used various supplies from our craft box to decorate them.

For the antenna, we used a hole punch but you could just use scissors. No two bugs have to be the same. Get creative. And just thing, now you have something to do with those empty toilet paper tubes!  (and yes they can stand up!)
